By a 3-2 vote, the Franklin Common Council approved and created the new TID #10, more commonly known as Poth’s General. This will redevelop the aging Orchard View strip mall into 292 apartments, a 4,100 sq ft standalone restaurant and 28,000 sq ft of retail space. An additional 4 parcels owned by another entity is included in the TID as potential developable land.

Alderpersons voting in favor are Peccarelli, Eichmann and Hasan.

Alderpersons voting against are Salous and Craig.

Alderwoman Day resigned April 6th, citing a personal family matter.
