Tonight’s Plan Commission meeting will in part begin discussions of a fresh Comprehensive Master Plan, something required by the state that serves as a guide for a community’s future land use and development. It consists of dozens of pages and documents, and is in the early draft stages. Out of all of those, this is the draft future land use plan for the city, highlighting potential new neighborhoods, business parks, and commercial/retail corridors.
If you want to read up on the draft plan and learn more, it can be found in the Plan Commission packet for tonight at the following link beginning with page 91:

The Common Council will setup dates for public participation at the April 21st meeting, and an Open House is being scheduled for Arbor Day (May 2nd). #citygovernment #franklinwi #development #developmentopportunity #EconomicDevelopment
